Announcement for SK

Since wind has made me in charge of the SK fights, there'll be a number of changes in regards to scheduling of matches as well as pairings.

• Schedules

Schedules will be posted in the Weekly Fighters Thread as usual.

But we will try to give you at least 2 weeks notice whether you're up for SK or not. Please inform us whether you can do it or not. So we could arrange for a replacement fighter in your place.

• Pairings

We've had a discussion about this in the other thread and this is the decision that I have come up with.

The first priority of pairing will be people under 5,000 connection, including our new members. This way we can encourage interaction between our new members. (Note: To new members: If you have questions as to how SK fights go on, please don't hesitate to ASK any of the members of the RP or just PM me. We would be more than happy to help you out.

The second priority of SK will be people under 10,000 connection.

Anyone over this limit will be able to participate in SK but under certain conditions.

1) This should be their first SK fight.

2) They could find a suitable opponent for themselves. (Most preferably someone who has not participated in SK matches.) If the player has no opponent, then please find someone of the sme connection as you are. We will not bother looking for a match for you, unless you want to fight us.

Lastly, we will try to give everyone a chance to participate in SK. And we will also try to match you up with someone of the same strenght or rank. But if you have any problems with these please contact us.

• Rules

Rules will remain as is like the beginning. Shikai use is permitted unless both competitors have reached a decision to not use it.

Under any circumstances the use of Bankai is forbidden.

Any kidou above 70 is forbidden.

Bankai level techniques are also forbidden. This includes the use of Shunkou or any other attack of this level.

Division techniques are also forbidden. We would like to see how you fare in a fight without the help of unique division techniques.

I cannot go on about all the rules so just use your common sense... (If you don't have one, ask someone who does... >_>; )

• Commentaries

SK is open for everyone to view so other players can be present during the time of your fight.

So, people. Please if someone asks you guys to comment on their fights, please try to participate. It's all part of teh SK experience.

just a heads up (tails up, cookies up?), the SK tourney will start somewhere in late November, as we are all drained from the tournament.

The way I read this, is that the people in the tournament won't be doing any of the fighting here. So wouldn't it be better to have this going now? Not a demand, mind you, just a point. (Perhaps from one green horn who may just be chomping at the bit.)

Tournament is all but finished atm, so there will be no problem once it starts in Late November (which is like...*counts fingers* a month away!!!!)

Well, all the people in the tournament ( most of them.. >_>; ) will have a chance to compete in SK. But since we just finished we need sometime to organise all the things we need such as pairings and stuff.

Mind you, it's not really an easy job to pair people up and to make sure they have experience in doing fights and such.

Impz and I will be in touch with anyone that will be up for SK, we are thinking of a way to help people in the matches, especially the new ones.
