Many a person has commented that Feng looks like a mummy, and many of those people are missing a few bits and pieces of themselves. However one this is clear, all anyone has seen, or rather is willing to say they’ve seen, of Feng is the single steel-colored eye and dark, wiry short black hair that are the only pieces of him that he cares to show. The entirety of the rest of his body is covered in bandages. Though it appears as though they are often changed, even under normal conditions, appear slightly brown and wet though no one is quite sure what they cover. Reports abound within the fourth’s psyche wards of men who had the misfortune of seeing Feng remove the bandages. There are only hushed whispers of a visage that would cause hollows to run in fear. This has been coupled with Feng’s eerie silence on the matter has only allowed rumors to further flourish.

A stoic in every sense of the word, Feng’s rigorous training extends beyond the physical into the emotional and intellectual aspects of himself. His voice is strictly monotone, showing only the slightest tinge of emotion only in the direst of circumstances. This rational thought extends to Feng’s seemingly limitless knowledge on cotangents, so much so many wonder why he hadn’t joined Research and Development years ago. Public records on Feng’s life are few and far between, all that is known is that while he originally attempted to become a shinigami before being withdrawn unexpectedly from the academy, his name stricken from the roster. He has spent the last hundred years on earth in a number of top secret missions before suddenly making his presence known and requesting a transfer to Research and Development.

Feng’s unreleased zanpakutou appears as a simple five foot long katana with only one notable feature, an inch wide black stripe runs down the center of the saber. Form: Feng’s Normal katana morphs into a five foot long extremely thin scimitar the center of which appears hollow. From the tip, if it is held stationary, the black sword appears to weep a similar colored liquid onto the ground which dissipates shortly thereafter.

Ability: Akueki (Epidemic)
The true nature of Feng’s kai is far more sinister than it first appeared. Rather than metal, the entire blade is composed of countless bacteria joined together by Feng’s reiatsu. Bankai: Ekibyou no Suisei (Plague of this Decadent World)

Form: Upon announcing bankai the general area around Feng is flooded with the black bacteria. Draped behind Feng is a massive 20ft tall form of Ekibyou made manifest. This vision is just for show though, as the bacteria’s purpose is to assist with the wielding of the true form of Feng’s bankai, a pair of 10ft long versions of his shikai weapon. The phantom arms of Ekibyou allow Feng to wield the weapons without losing any of the finesse he had, even in spite of their massive size.

Ability: Ishuu Akueki (Swarm Epidemic)

Attack 1: The virulence of Feng’s kai has learned to take on beings who are naturally resistant to damage or naturally regenerative. Upon a successful strike, or the dissipation of one of the viruses in melee range of an opponent, Feng may pay 5% of his reiatsu to further distort the bacteria. This version of the virus is no longer sentient and has a quick life cycle dying the following turn. However, through the course of its infection, the virus wreaks havoc on the targets defensive abilities. Any wounds inflicted by Feng the following turn are increased in severity by one level. Additionally Feng is able to negate up to the cost of the attack in reiatsu regeneration causing an invert in 2% reiatsu regen, and nullifying another 1%.

Attack 2: Rather than the standard viruses, Feng is able to create far more sinister breeds should he desire. At the cost of 3% reiatsu, the virus takes on a sleeker form. They appear to be an insect version of Feng while keeping the characteristic hollow black swarming eyes. The virus bursts from the wound, dealing damage that is unable to be reduced below minor, while creating a festering sore where it left. The wound oozes a dark black liquid for two turns causing intense pain and is unable to be treated by restorative effects for three turns. These viruses are only able to create wounds which turn into themselves.

Attack 3: Though a proficient swordsman, Feng is sometimes in need of viruses tougher than either of the previous versions. Once a strike is made Feng is able to pay 5% reiatsu to incubate a virus for one turn. At the beginning of the next turn it emerges from its host draining an amount of reiatsu equal to cost paid into it. The attacks of these beings, like the previous modification of viruses, can only reproduce themselves.

Ability – Delphi’s major advantage is a direct neural uplink into the Ninth Division’s research database on the fly without need of looking through any devices.
